Be Genuine

Connect with your customers on a real level. Being genuine with your customers means being authentic and sincere and it's easier than you think! Genuine customer care is unscripted and unrehearsed.  It is more than words, it actually speaks louder through actions and is more effective when shown rather than said.

Nurture the relationship

Customer relationships are delicate. You want them to spend money with you and tell their friends to spend money with you, but are you giving them a good reason to? The answer can't lie solely in your product or service, it has to run much deeper than that.

A great way to build on a strong customer relationship is to always follow through and communicate. Deliver on your promises! Consistently reach out and communicate with them.

Don't expect them to come to you. Ask them how they're  doing, share information that you know they would be interested in. Do this on a regular basis, be consistent and set up auto reminders  to help you out.

Don't forget to let them talk! Ask them for feedback on your products and services. Ask them for suggestions and recommendations or better yet, for their expert opinions and then prove to them that  their opinions matter. Brag about them on your social media! If they know what they're talking about, share their knowledge with your followers (with permission of course).

You're customers love when you gush about them and they'll be much more likely to gush all over the internet about you too.

Say Thank You

Never underestimate the power of  a handwritten thank you note or better yet, an actual phone call just to say thank you to a customer for their recent (and future) business. It's an amazing opportunity for your company to shine in your customers eyes and it doubles as a great time to collect valuable feedback and possibly encourage another visit or purchase.  Check out our video below for an example of how we rock at saying thank you and reactivating a client at the same time:
